I've been getting Ramen everywhere. My travels take me - from LA to DC, Maine to the Midwest to Dallas. This is one of the best (if not THE best) Ramen I've ever had! I got the tofu appetizer and mixed it in… I got spice on the side so I could put how much I wanted in. Delicious!! It's a chicken broth that they say is cooked over 10 hours and it's absolutely divine! It's savory, flavorful, full of shiitake mushrooms! The pork had a good amount of meat and wasn't too fatty- YUM!! It was reasonably priced, had great service, nice/cute atmosphere. I appreciated the real dishes without a fist food feel like so many now have. When in town, I'm definitely coming back! Enjoy this treat! Toba, today I celebrate you!!!

If you’re in Kalamazoo and not going to Toba Sushi downtown… what are you even doing?? This place is seriously NEXT LEVEL. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was clean, cozy, and welcoming but the real magic starts when the food hits the table. The sushi? INSANELY fresh. Like, melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Every roll was perfectly balanced, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell they actually care about what they’re making. And don’t even get me started on the service super friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. They made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. Honestly, this wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. Whether you’re on a date, hanging with friends, or just treating yourself 🙏🙏♥️ this is THE spot. Easily one of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to. 10/10. No question. I’ll 100% be coming back. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🍣♥️

If I could leave a review for our server and the restaurant separately, I would. Our server Jen was amazing. Very attentive, personable, knowledgeable of the menu, kind, and tried her very best to be accommodating. The manager was horrible and unfair. My friend ordered ramen and ended up not being able to eat it because of the pork. She was able to send it back and get rice instead, thanks to Jen. After paying for our meals, Jen returns to alert us that the manager wants my friend to pay for the meal that she did not eat and that was THROWN AWAY. No discounts or accommodations were provided by the manager. Jen gets 5 stars. Manger gets 1. Yummy toba burrito tho

C'mon now, you guys are killing it! Freshest sushi in town! We had the K-Zoo Roll, Bang Oh Roll and the Toba Buldak Fried Rice (make sure you get this-- maybe 2 or 3, yeah that good!). Everything was outstanding! Great food, great service....Toba!...Toba!...Toba!

Anthony was more server! They were so nice to me and caring. The food was amazing of course, but they made it better with their hospitality.
